Default Frustration!!!

OK, so here's my dilemma.
I blew the head gasket on my '90 CRX DX
This weekend I decided to replace It, but realized that I can't pop my hood.
It looks like the cable snapped, and I tried to remove my bumper but guess what?
I need to pop my hood to take the bumper off.

Is there anyone who can help me out?
Is there any method that I overlooked?

I know this is a dumb question, and I feel kinda like a retard asking but what am I to do?

You should be able to go into one of the front fender wells and the cable should be accessible through there. If not try and grab it where it snapped with a pair of vise-grips and pull on the cable with those, the hood should pop. If all else fails try to go from underneath the car in front of the exhaust manifold and try popping it by the upper rad support. good luck. ;D

ur front bumper does come off there is two screw in the wheel well on either side in the front and take out your turn signals in the bumper and two more bolt in either side and the front bumber pulls off no prob and the cable is so easy to get at from there
