should i buy a JRSC for $1000??
i dont know the kid personally thats selling it but a few friends of mine do...they said the kid only had it on his car for about 2-3 months... now its just sitting in my friends store waitin for someone to buy it..hes selling it for like 1400 but im gunna try to get it for 1000... what are the chances of it being in bad condition if it was used for only 3 months...also im not 100% sure if ALL of the peices are there so what could i look for ... also what could i look for to see if its in good condition???
check it out. go there with a allen wrench set and pull the mani off the charger....take a look at the blades, if they are alright (and chances are they are) then you're good....you can figure out if you are missing any large pieces by finding a pic of a kit online and familiarizing yourself with the parts...in fact, do a search under the username "cartek-tuning" he was selling a charger a while back and had a post where he had all the parts in a pic...that should give you an idea. you can always order what you are missing from JR, but its a pain because their customer service blows and they hate it when people call for parts. good luck.
just realized your from long island...me too. i just got a charger a few weeks ago for $1000 as well. guess we know where the good deals are

the hardest part is having the right tools. Its a fairly straight forward install...IF you have the right tools....lift, air tools etc.
My friend in Mass is going to help me with it. He installs SC's on mustangs every week. I will be putting it in two weeks. When i'm finished, if you have the tools, i'd be happy to help you out....i just don't have the tools. I think RPM charges like 700 for the install.

i bought mine used and it was on the car for over a year before he took it off and sold it to me.....the hardest part of installing it is getting ur hands in tight places to torque down bolts....the wiring is easy....and if its in good condition fr 1000-1400... i would say its a good buy.... (but i guess im a little biased)
its true. even if you don't put it on, you could sell it for at least 1200-1400. but then again, why not just put it on, use it, then sell it later for the same $? makes sense to me
Sounds like a great deal to me.
You'll really need the BTC and MAP controller to make it run safe and proper. There is a good deal on those right now on ebay. Also a guy on the "Forced Induction Integra" forum on hostboard has one for sale. If those are sold then keep your eyes on the forced induction classifieds here. They come up for sale pretty often.
