Question for Tein owners...
Do you have a weird sound that occurs when you are backing up in reverse and then braking?
Here's my situation:
Put it in reverse.
Go.
Begin to brake.
"Hummmmmmmmmmmmmm" (high pitched)
Doesn't happen going forward.
No clue. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Hey Loc, are you sure it's coming from the strut assembly? Could it be related with brake components? Possibly debris between rotor and mud sheilds? Pads shifting a bit, they do that. Or even from the tranny?
its because the rear pads are used to being applied in the forward direction so along with the large solid rear rotor and the slightly tapered pad, there is a resonance and the rotor rings. this happens to my ITR and my LS that ive upgraded to 11.4" rear rotors! dont worry about it.
