Toda oil pump gear?

Sorry if these questions are dumb, but where does the pump actually go? Whats involved with getting it
installed...drop oil pan? timing belt? what?

Also, is this gear beneficial for auto crossers or just road racers? or both?

it is my understanding that the toda oil pump gear does not increase flow nor pressure. it is just a more durable gear that is used in endurance racing. i don't think it will benefit the average itr owners needs. if it increased flow, i would have bought it.

short of endurance racing, you will be wasting your money. how often have you heard of itr oil pumps failing, much less any other honda oil pump for that matter. i would have it if it made a signicant gain in performance.
