does anyone know if and when Honda is or isnt bringing the RSX Type R to the states. thanx alot.

 

they aren't going to bring it here for a couple of years...let the RSX settle down first

 

All this excitement about the RSX Type R and the RSX base isn't even out yet

 

If there is not RSX type S, We should see the RSX type R within 1-2 years,
but since we have the stupid TYPE S, I don't see it will ever come. People
will have different opinion on that, but I don't think it will come. Just like NSX, you have the Type S and Japan has NSX Type R. If our Type S is called GSR, or something, we should be able to see the type R. but it just doesn't make sense to have Type S and Type R at the same time.
Japan has NSX type R we have NSX type S so, we'll have RSX type S and Japan will have RSX type R.
It WON'T COME. trust me, not unless we get rid of the type S

 

I went on the Japanese Honda web site and it does not appear as there is a type S in Japan. Only 2 versions. The regular 160 hp RSx and the Type R 220 hp. It looks as if the Type S was made for the American market only.
I also heard that the type S motor is the same motor that is coming in the Civic Type R.
I dont think the type R will come to the states unless they are really pressured to bring it.
