Default Tom Motorsport Coilovers Good or Crap?

Well i talked to my supplier about getting coilovers and he told me about tom-motorsport coilovers from japan which are almost exactly the same..

Well know im kinda sketchy, they list only one set for an integra(94-01) and it doesnt say type r anywhere on it..

Constructions is very similar, minus the fact that it comes witha wrench and they are slightly different. Now before i put this on my R i wanted a wicked suspension and i thought these were the same as GC's but i guess they are not, did i just buy some JDM "crap"?

Please let me know, i never really cheap outy but i thought i'd give them a chance..

I think TOMS is for toyota(not tom no "s"), i was told they were identical to ground controls, but i guess not.

I had ground controls in my old car(5th gen lude)and they were the best investment i made in that car, they were excellent!

I kinda agree. They look like these.

And this is made by Rocketz, which doesn't inspire much confidence.

This is true.

Getting anything below RA is really just getting Teins for the sake of saying you have Teins.

450/550 Ground Controls on Bilsteins or Koni Yellows.

This is not good advice. Properly installed coilover sleeves work really well.

I am always under the impression that Tom's is a big time Toyota tuner, not Honda.

Edit: Is Tom's the ones you talk about?

TOyota Motor Sports

as far as i knew TOMs only made parts for toyotas, but then again i have seen TOMs brake pads for integras and B series oil caps supposedly made by TOMs on ebay (but who believes anything they see on ebay?????)

Possibly those coilovers were once owned by a guy named Tom but i would doubt very much if the rteal TOMs made them!!!
