Smoked Tail Lights
Ok, I tried a search and couldnt really find anything on smoking the tailights. I was planning on using that night shade stuff that summit sells, and I have seen a black integra on here with the smoked tail lights, so anyone have directions on what i need to, or any good helpful tips?
thanks all

take off the tail lights
use light coats of the spray, spray both at the same time, so you dont forget the number of coats you put on... spray the can like 12-15 inches away from the lights and mist the "paint" over them.
when you get them to the desired dark-ness, put like 5 light coats of rustoleum clear coat over top. you dont have to do this if you want the "matte" look, but i like my taillights to be shiny
good luck

i used transparent vinyl for my car. i like the glossy look and easy application...sticks like mad, but it comes off very easily (just peel!). i chose a medium dark gray color. just cut around and apply. 10 mins and no drying.
the art store i purchased it from had many colors to choose from, all for like $5 for a 3'x3' sheet. you can also purchase the material at sign shops as well.
