Thanks guys. Phoenix (my dog) weighed in @ a monsterous 46 lbs at the vet a couple of weeks ago. She's 5 months old now. Time for obedience classes.

It's kind of funny...she used to just pick at her food, but now she'll stand there and eat more of it.

YD she looks great. I am also in the new-dog stage, I have a 10-month old German Shepherd at home that weighs around 75 lbs. Since I am in college, she's really the family dog...and it has totally tuned my parents out. She's very sweet though so the potential for disaster is minimal.

My girlfriend's uncle owns a dog-toy factory...maybe I'll try to get an H-T member discount

As for you, Yosh...you need to play Gran Turismo. You won't be able to stop, even if you are not a fan of video games.

I think its going to be pretty awesome. I heard if you get the soon to be released logitech steeringwheel, that GT3 will give forced feedback just like in a arcade, and when you go over bumps you'll feel it in the steeringwheel. Also its supposed to be set so if you turn just a little, the car turs just a little. Same with the gas and breaks! Its going to make it so much easier to go through turns are at only half throtle, and ease on the gas. No more lighting up the tires on my viper. I can't wait!

 

Ah, she's growing fast. I'm guessing she's in the obnoxious stage - putting anything within reach in her mouth and generally testing your patience. Good luck and just remember, she will get better...MUCH better.

Gman96gsr ~ Thanks! Yes...very obnoxious. She's still losing baby teeth = bite and chew everything. I'm sure she'll get better. She *is* potty trained now!

everyone ~ the sole reason for owning the N64 is for Goldeneye 007 and Perfect Dark. Get 3 friends and HOOK UP BATTLE MODE!!! Hell yeah. That is so fun.

 

I played the demo with the Raybrig NSX the other day @ Babbages...and all I can say is WOW. The cars are MUCH more realistic feeling and looking(of course) and are much easier to control than GT2....more along the lines of GT1.

My first PS2 WAS a POS! My current one seems to be ok. Wish I had just bought a DVD player and kept playing GT2.

 

YD - Super Smash Bros. (N64) is one of the best games I have ever played for any system. Playing that game with 3 friends is just awesome.

 

The PS2 system is horrible; it's too slow. When we play 4 player games thr thing slows down and sometimes even crashes.

 

It is as good as I was anticipating.

-Tommy has played 6 hours of GT3 (JDM version) and loved every minute of it.

I was playing the GT3 demo yesterday too! It's quite fun! The graphics are real niice too.

You'll be able to attach 3 systems together via a firewire and play 6 player games on 3 tvs (2 players per tv)! That is going to be incredible!

Cheese~ who has his GT3 preordered too..and is trying to figure out how to get his hands on the Japanese Logitech GT3 steering wheel controller...

 

Dang, did they posponed the release data again?? I called a local game dealer and he told me the end of June.. WTF???

Also, anyone read the paper saying something about the GT3 game is having problems with the console in Japan? Can't remember excatly what it said but I think it has to do with the console not fully support the GT3 game. Anyone?

BTW, I will be playing the JDM version this Saturday at the PS2 R&D facility in Santa Monica. They have the full seat back, steering wheel/pedal controls setup like in the E3 show. Should be fun.

It s July the 10th, not the 11th. Dammit, I don't want to wait a day longer than needed. Has anyone tried TXR for PS2 yet, some feedback please.
