I had my spoon N1 installed a few days ago. Today I noticed a smell coming from the rear of my car that almost smealt like plastic burning. I immediatley thought that the N1 might be melting my bumper.

I got on my hands and knees(get your mind out of the gutter) and checked everything out. There was no bumper damage and I had atleast an inch of clearance from the tip to my bumper.

Could it be that black tary resin crap they coat the inner of the exhaust with burning up?

I've had that same smell, almost like burn toast or bad eggs, right?

Don't wory about it, give it a few more days (depending on how often u drive). It should go away.

 

smells like when you were a kid and used to light action figures on fire........that plastic toxic burning smell.

LOL!! Normal for a new exhaust. Also if you were driving at WOT and then parked the car, you would smell the exhaust..
