I like that

 

F1 = the only example of "Genuine Honda" performing better on the track than Mugen.

 

Don't think that Mugen isn't involved in the production and development of the "OEM" Honda F1 engine.

Is this 4L V8 going to be the unit rumored fore the RL and new NSX? hmm....

 

That would be a logical assumption, but watching the F1 races on TV last year, they said that Mugen was sort of a rebellious faction that splintered off from Honda and that the relation between the Honda F1 program and Mugen-Honda F1 program was chilly at best. as for the engine, I wouldn't be surprised.

Did Mugen ever won an F-1 Race?

I don't think Ligier was using Mugen engine when Olivier Panis won the 96 Monaco GP

 

They won 2 in 1999, the year Schumacher broke his leg. Frentzen was the driver for those victories and he ended up 3rd in the championship. The next year they dropped significantly down the ladder.

 

Thats when it was Jorden-Mugen or somethin like that right?
