Default Camber KIT... install? fabrication? etc...

Ok... i'm furious... a lot of people i know don't need camber kits... (who the hell knows why??) i mean two friends have cars dropped, both at 2"... both on stock wheels... one has terrible camber, the wheels look lop-sided as hell, while the other guy has perfect camber and no signs of inner tire wear...

I NEED CAMBER KIT... my 5th gen prelude will be rolling on 18"s next week, and i've had my car dropped 2" on stock rims/tires for a month and already i can see signs of inner tire wear... (i don't want to mess up my new rims/tires or my ride, so i figure i need camber kit)

I heard all u need to do is place a few washers in the control arm or something like that instead of paying 250 bucks for the camber kit front/rear... is this true??? and if i do need to buy ingalls or whatever can i install them myself???

(btw: i already did a search and nothing came up regarding my specific questions>...)

I don't think the old washer trick will work on ludes. In civics and some other cars the upper A arm (I think) mounts to the body with bolt goin in toward the trunk... therefore putting washers in there pushes it out... in turn... correcting negative camber. But it ludes... it's different, It's mounted "up" so to speak.. so putting washers in there might just make it worse. The money spent on camber kits is well worth saving your tires. It's just one of those things that no one wants to pay for... but you have to.. (kinda like taxes and insurance) It's insuring your tire wear. There is a group buy going on right now for $120 a set. Good Luck.

A set being front or rear. So you would need 2 sets to do the whole car.

you need the shop to adjust it, but its easy to install if you got the right tools. usually just a air ratchet and impact gun is needed. hell, if you can align a car without the proper equipment... ill drive to where ever you are and let you align my car too.
