my freshly painted valve cover [no 56k]
i had my cover off to upgrade cams and adjust my valve clearances, so i decided to strip my old cover and paint it. i used light coats of grey and blue alternating to get a textured effect. it works really good, and i'm pleased with the outcome. comments welcome.
came out good
but i can print those pics and tape them to my valvecover. they'd be bigger than lifesize
.
can i ask why there's a bloody rag on your intake piping???

i didnt reduce the size since i'm lazy and wanted to show the texture of it. a little scrolling never hurt anyone.
the rag isnt bloody lol. i have it there bc my intake hits the hood and i dont want to scratch the intake or wear a hole in it. its a temporary fix thats almost become permanent due to my priorities.

nice... i heard that the aircraft paint remover burns like a virgin **** if you get it on your skin.
. and i thought you fixed the intake when you turned it so i think its safe to take off the rag.

take even finer sand grit and finish off those letters, maybe even use some mother's metal polish to really make it bling...

i figured i'm sick of seeing all the red covers, so thats why i picked the blue. thanks for the suggestion of the polish on the letters
