Default my freshly painted valve cover [no 56k]

i had my cover off to upgrade cams and adjust my valve clearances, so i decided to strip my old cover and paint it. i used light coats of grey and blue alternating to get a textured effect. it works really good, and i'm pleased with the outcome. comments welcome.

i didnt reduce the size since i'm lazy and wanted to show the texture of it. a little scrolling never hurt anyone.

the rag isnt bloody lol. i have it there bc my intake hits the hood and i dont want to scratch the intake or wear a hole in it. its a temporary fix thats almost become permanent due to my priorities.

nice... i heard that the aircraft paint remover burns like a virgin **** if you get it on your skin. . and i thought you fixed the intake when you turned it so i think its safe to take off the rag.

take even finer sand grit and finish off those letters, maybe even use some mother's metal polish to really make it bling...

super nice job though man, looks great.

Not a fan of painted V-covers, but still a good job.

i figured i'm sick of seeing all the red covers, so thats why i picked the blue. thanks for the suggestion of the polish on the letters - i couldnt seem to get it perfect with the sand paper.
