Default Type R replica

This guy did a real good job replicating a Type R, but I think he is asking way too much. I would much rather pick up a real '98 Type R.

If the car has legit VIN plates on the motor and transmission then it's worth about $14k. But without those it's worthless to anyone that lives in the NY/NJ area. Cuz the cops here WILL KEEP IT if it's missing those plates. You heard right. KEEP IT AND YOU DON'T GET IT BACK! They have a funky alw in NYS that if they find a stolen motor in a car that has salvage history YOU LOSE IT!

Thats awesome! I bet the cops sell them at police auctions too... Anyone want a cheap ITR engine, check this ebay guy out, then check out the police auction.

Who would buy a homemade, painted in the garage, fake as hell Type-R "looking" vehicle that was built from a strip-out, stolen & then recovered GSR for anywhere near that asking price???? Come on, you can get a "Real" Type-R in good condition for close to that price!!! But I guess you wouldn't have the sunroof, right? (he, he).
