can i use d16a6 spark plugs???

and can i use d16a6 msd spark plug wires???

its a d16y8 head off a 99 civic EX....

 

You can use the a6 plugs (they will work), but I would recommend the y8 plugs (they could be a different heat range)

D16a6 plug wires wont fit right on the y8 head, little bit different style. Think the newer style ones are a bit skinnier and longer.

i have a set of brand new iridium plugs for the d16a6 thats why...

im using the d16a6 dizzy tho so if i get y8 wires they'll work witht the dizzy right???

 

hmm, pretty sure they will barely fit, on my Z6 head, I used a a6 dizzy with z6 wires and the ******* barely fit. I think obd0 dizzys sit out farther than the newer ones.
