Default Can I get away with this?

I have a friend with a miata and he plans on running KYB AGX with the stock springs and he thinks I should try the same thing before I decide to put a set of performance springs on. Is anyone running AGX or Illumina's with stock springs? I realize he has a completely different car than me but I would like to see if anyone else has done it with a 99 civic si.

i would go for the performance springs. especially since you're going to have to disassemble the strut to put on new shocks. i just put the kyb on with some eibachs and it makes a big difference. you also might want to ask in the eg forum as this one is for fouth gen civics.

It'll still ride fairly smooth over bumps, yet eliminate alot of body roll. I would do it because being from Jersey I know how Newark is and I wouldnt even attempt to lower a car in that town.(bang, smash, crack, snap all the way to the alignment shop!) IMO leave it stock height but it's your car.
