quick dumb question... AEM fuel rail... where is the 1/8 place to screw in fuel pressure gauge?
I have an auto meter fuel gauge, and I am not sure where to install it. it is a 1/8th fitting, and it says that there is a 1/8th fitting on the AEM fuel rail... but where is it? or is there some place else to mount it?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Its right on the top of the fuel rail.. I dont have a AEM rail but from what i have seen it, its on the top, right above where the AEM logo is etched on the rail.
As it was stated, its on top of the rail. It depends on how you hook your rail up.....you should use the large drivers side port to feed in the fuel (req. removing old banjo fitting and switching to a SS braided hose with AN fittings) then you put FPR on top and the sender in the small port next to the FPR....if you are using you stock banjo fitting then you might be using the port you need already.....
its plugged.. right next to the bolt for your fuel press. reg. if your lookin at the engine it will be on the left of the FPR. its plugged with an allen head bolt.. 1/8 pipe thread.
ok, I found it... exactly where you said... next to the fpr. problem is that the fpr is too big and the gauge doesn't fit, the hole for it is too close to the fpr
any suggestions?
any suggestions?
plumb an elbow onto it......im sure you can get it to fit, you could also use a reducer in one of the larger ports
