Well, I was playing around with my exhaust this morning and I saw my front left tire was looking a little funny. There was a line on the inside of it that wasn't on any of the other tires. my first thought was that they were chunking, even though I know I broke them in properly. Further inspection revealed that they were rubbing against my fenderwell, and they caught a peice of metal which ripped a nice sized groove in the tire.
I took these pictures after I used a hammer to bash the metal lip in as much as I could. There was even a chunk of rubber stuck onto this peice of metal. I guess I'm glad that this was the only tire it happened to, but it still sucks because these tires only have 600 miles on them. I'll probably take off my wheel tomorrow at work and bash that metal peice in some more. I'd like to put something over it, but I don't know of anything that would stick there.

They are 205-50-15s. Tomorrow I'm gonna rotate them, since I've got almost 900 miles on them. While they're off, I'm gonna bash that **** peice of metal in and then sand it down. I'll probably check the other side too.
