i thought my headgasket was leaking but i just took some vacum hoses off my intake manifold to take the head off and there is antifreeze coming out of the intake manifold from these vacum sources... could a hose be in the wrong place and putting antifreeze inside my intake manifold? that would be the reason why i have antifreeze in my spark plugs..i dont wanna take my head off if its not my headgasket ahhhhhhhhh i dont know where to start any help would help!

i just got my engine all back together and started her up..... she started up once .. i pulled the plugs they had antifreeze, so im thinking maybe its not the headgasket i dont know, but i pulled the vacum hoses and antifreeze came out,... should i ppull the intake manifold and clean it, see if there is any antifreeze or should i pull the head ???

how could antifreeze get in there , that is suppose to goto the brake booster i think, and u cna see the antifreeze drippin out still
havent you guys ever heard of the bypass mod? theres antifreeze running up through there to warm up the intake charge when its realllllllllly cold outside......and its common to bypass this in the summer, because the hot antifreeze creates unneccassary heat.....as for your leak, i dont know.

I would first recommend bypassing the coolent.
Does anyone know if you fill the intake manifold with coolent, then close off, will it still work like an anit-freeze system even though no coolent is even being passed.
The idea of coolent running through the intake manifold is a great idea, however, after car is hot, it only heats up intake temps... Any good suggestions for myself and the person who created this post?
