engine codes with a cutout?
for the engines that specifically go "exhaust manifold to cat. converter to the rest of exhaust",
here is my q.
say i put a cutout in between the cat and the rest of the catback exhaust,
so the chain reads like this
header----cat---cutout----rest of catback piping---muffler-tip/out
if the cutout is opened, so there is an opening right after the cat,
will there be any engine codes?
say specifically for a honda b-series stock etc etc?
or is everything gravy,
as long as the 1 to 2 o2 sensors is filled etc and there is a cat?
if so, technically one could run just the header and cat and have no exhaust and have no Ecu error codes right?

Yeah your will be fine. Even if you put the cut out before the cat you still would be fine. As long as the 02 sensor in the cat don't get messed around with.
its kind of useless to have a cutout after the cat.
useless
say i have an aftermarket header,
connecting to a bigger than stock cat,
and stock catback....
cutout===ultimate catback
cuz there is no catback

nice for a turbo app. ay?
