Tie bar with ITR Rear sway
What kind of rear lower tie bar will fit with NO modification on a 98 integra gsr that has been modified to hold the ITR rear sway bar using BSQ's kit? It sort of looks like the spoon should fit just fine, but I'd like to know from someone using one. I'm looking for something that is a bolt on, not something I am going to have to bend. Thanks.

My friend used the Neuspeed tie bar and some spacers (ie - washers) at the mounting point to give it some clearance/room. He has the ITR bar, BSQ's kit and the Neuspeed tie bar. (BSQ's is the cheaper one right? which ever one is the cheaper kit, is the one he has.) I get 'em confused, sorry!
ive always sort of thought they looked pointless, especially based on where the ITR rear sway bar mounts. guess ill just save my money, get an oil cap or something. lol
You could get Comptech's new rear tie bar, the type-r sway bar mounts directly to it using sway bar mounts from Prothane or Energy Suspensions. It also takes pressure away from the mounts so it doen't rip out the chassis, as the tie bar is mounted using the control arm bolts....
The bushing brackets that you use with the BSQ mounts should work with the new Comptech tiebar. It has holes in the right places for the bolts. Make sure that you get an extra pair of bolts (should come with it) when you order the bar from Comptech.

I'm talking about the lower rear tie bar that comes with the sway/tie bar kit, not stand-alone tie bar. Comptech will sell that tie bar separately. You could tell them that you got the comptech sway bar stand-alone kit before the new kit came out and now want just the tie bar.
Lower rear tie bar will not do swat for you...save your $$$ or if you itching because of it, send it to me.
