Spring I.D. (inside diameter)
I was wondering what the spring ID is for our cars...(particulary '90 CRX Si)
I found this section of H&R's site which has 2.5 id springs....quite a wide variety!
Are our's 2.5 id or 2.25 or something like that?

The stock ID is around 70mm
2.25 and 2.5 is usually for springs for adj coilover kits
here is the catalog for the Ebiach ERS spring in 2.5ID

wow, coilovers are looking more and more attractive the more I look. I originally didn't like the adjustability and the threaded sleeve, but despite those things...coilovers seem to offer everythong I want. (great adjustability in spring types, even if I get a longer spring and leave the perch near the bottom)
One question about sleeves...is there really a difference between brands? I see cheapo coilovers like maxspeed used for next to nothing all the time. Would it make sense to just get those sleeves (and springs) and add the springs of my choice if I wanted?
Also, what are your opinions on helper springs?
