A lot of dsm people to that to the 1g bov. They actually "crush" them in a vise grip. This will allow it to hold more boost. The non-crushed are good for about 18-19 lbs and the crushed for about 22-23 lbs

however, sometimes when people crush their dsm bov, they actually **** it up since they literally crushed it too much. so if u buy a dsm bov, id advise u to buy a non-crushed one and crush it yourself (or have a shop who knows what their doing do it)
