Default HELP, Aftermarket steering wheel install...

There are two plugs on the back of the SRS cable reel. One with 2 grey wires coming out of it and one with 1 blue wire. I disconnected the blue wire plug without any problems but I can't seem to unplug the grey wire plug.

PS - the blue wire is the horn wire that I need to splice to get my horn working?

Thanks a bunch.

You can NOT remove if from the cable reel. You have to remove it off of the yellow SRS plug located deeper under the dash.

My new steering wheel is in and the horn works. Instead of running to Honda and buying the elusive EG shoehorn...I just went to my favorite import shop (Home Depot) and picked up a bag of copper clamps (10 per bag for $1.50)

For those of you planning on doing this mod. Get a 350mm steering wheel, it is perfect fit for our cars, the very top ends where the top of the dash ends. I musta saved at least 10 lbs swapping out the OEM air bag wheel with my momo according to my arm scale.

It will take sometime before I get used to the new steering wheel. It is actually alot slipperier than the stock leather grip

I should have gotten it wrapped in leather to retain the stock like grip. Hmm...now I'm too fuggin lazy to swap the other one back in
