Anyone know why my intake manifold keeps cracking. 2 different manifolds
I Installed a hondata heatshield manifold when tightening it down the correct way from middle out , torqued to 17lbs, the water neck keeps cracking....twice two different manifolds...WTF

use less torque. i have not had a problem, but then again i dont use a torque wrench for those either.

For things that don't need a lot of torque, it's usually far easier to feel proper torque with a conventional wrench.
