Default Snapping swaybar Brackets on my 89 SI Hatch, HELP!

As the title states, I have broken two REAR swaybar brackets in the past week. My car is on 15's with H&R sports. Stock front lower SI bar. Rear 22mm Mugen lower tie bar. Does anyone know who constructs beefier setups for the rear lower brackets? Some Names would really help. Thanx in advance.

Sounds like maybe some damper adjustable struts/shocks would help prevent breaking the mounting brackets. You could also maybe have someone fabricate you some....machine shop....or if you know someone in a College class or something?

Actually I myself am very capable of machining tougher hard ware but then my chassis will start to breakdown . A couple of my Autocrossing pals say that because of the stress i put on my car i very much need an upper rear bar as well to reduce the flex in the rear lower brackets. That should fix my problem they state Thanks of the Suggestions

hmmm, not sure about what your autox friends are saying, but see if you can get some st sway bar brackets or make some like that.

better do it soon or you're going to tear out the chassis there.

That is why i need to create a subframe with a upper bar back there as well. Preventing the chassis from flexing as much. If i just make stronger brackets the mounting points will definately pull apart, much like the heavier & longer Integra's do when pushed to their limit. Spoon makes the bar that i need and will install pronto, My problem is now solved! Oh, by the way my buddy's are pilots for Spoon, Bride, Walker Pro and are official represenitives of their prouduct. Thanks guys for your thoughts even the dumbass one Hahahaha

This whole thread didn't make sense if you know what to do then why ask for help?

and if your buddies are "piolts" for "Spoon, Bride, Walker Pro" then why ask for help on here?

Your chassis isn't flexing if the brackets are breaking...obviously the brackets are weak just get better brackets.

Maybe your bar is binding, if endlinks don't break then the bracket will break.

You only reinforce the chassis if the chassis breaks but thats not happening so whats the point of making a subframe.

What is a rear 22 mugen lower tie bar?

What is a highly tuned d16 have to do with your handling?
