Default Suspension issues with B series engines in 4th gens?

I recently swapped a JDM type-R in my 91 hatch. The engine and tranny are much heavier than my previous engine, which causes some handling problems.

My front springs are not strong enough anymore. I have been told that I could swap them for integra sport springs, which would be stiffer. Anybody knows what would fit? I have almost new koni yellows at the front, I don't really want to change those...unless I really have to.

i have a b16 with 90-93 integra h&r race springs all around with kyb agx struts...it rides fine, but i'd recommend you get some sport CIVIC springs for the back of your car. although the teg springs fit back there, they're extremely high and don't really compress-AT ALL....the front springs, work fine, and there's about a 1/2" gap

go with a coilover kit just get it for an integra should solve your problem.

well, just getting coilovers not enough, they have to have an upgrade of spring rate streetable at about 300-350 in front and sl. increase to the rear....

300-350 won't even hold up my d series you gotta look at 450+

that sounds like some other issues tho - i had 225 lb. on my turbo d16 and was good for the street with excellent handling but not too good on drag launches for that car

conventional wisdon is that for a slightly rougher ride that you would go with 400# in the front and 350# in the rear which is what i will be going to with itr motor in my ef sedan
