Few question about a 94 gsr im looking at
well i found a 94 gsr in my area. It has a little over 87k miles on it, my main concern is that the owner stated that he has been using regular unleaded gas, and i read taht it is recomended that it should run on premium.....the car's only mod is a CAI and the guy told me he opens it up once in awhile, I was wondering if i would experiance any problems? The car it self is clean but it needs a new clutch and the timing belt changed, hes askin $5500....do you guys think this is a good deal?
have it compression tested.....using regular 87 is NOT GOOD for our high revving motors......
...sounds like a good deal but def. get it checked out
i dont think 87 unleaded would hurt on a practically stock GSR. even with a CAI.
u should get it checked and ask him to take the amount of the price for the difference to get the timing belt and water pump done.

running a GSR on non-premium gas is like cutting your ***** off!!!
I bet that guy has no idea what that car is capable of!!
I know when the wrong gas is used your car corrects the problem by running without VTEC and with retarted ignition maps to protect the engine from detonation. - However- i don't know anyone who would not put premium in onpurpose - most people that do it, do it by accident.
Definately have that looked at before you buy it
