i'm converting my wife's EF to multipoint. it had a d16y7 with the stock d15b dual point intake manifold and equipment, and i just bought a 91 crx si intake manifold, throttlebody, injectors, fuel rail, distrib, ecu, etc... so we go to hook everything up tonight and notice the pcv on the Si manifold is busted. the pcv on the dual point manifold is completely different.
Can I just run a straight tube right from the big vacuum outlet on the front of the intake manifold to the breather chamber on the back of the block? i know the PCV is spring/vacuum/pressure operated to allow oil to go back into the intake and get burned off at times. if this was just open all the time would it screw something up? If I just capped the tubing coming out of both the breather chamber and the tube coming off the front of the intake mani, would this cause any problems? I'm just looking for a temporary fix so I don't have to drive the car with a vacuum leak or with major issues. I'll get a new Si PCV as soon as I can. Does checker or autozone carry those?
TIA for your advice.

i know that you can get a PCV valve at auto zone or something similar, my buddies needed replacing, and he went to kragen to get it, and they had it the next day, and it was way cheap...
fram pcv valves are less than 2 bucks... it is a one way vlave so if you run a straght line it will **** up you mani vacuumes... spend the 2 bucks and sleep better...
