Default Is an ITR flywheel a worthwhile upgrade?

My clutch will be going on my b18c1 soon and while i was already in there i figured id put on a lighter flywheel. I am looking at a usdm itr one for 105 shipped. is it a worthwhile upgrade to go from about 18lbs to 14? i will be boosting in the next few months too.

The ITR flywheel is a great upgrade w/o going to aftermnarket. the 14lb weight will give you a good balance of torque with better spool up.I ran the ITR in my car until i went to a double disc clutch and I like it the best.

I have heard good things about poeple using the ITR Fly wheel. My buddy has a 8lb chromolly on his LS turbo............It's funny watching him try to get traction at the track. The only time it comes in good is at high speeds. It takes him five seconds to get from 70 to 125. So the aftermarket flywheel is great on top end but for balance and not losing to much torque I think it's a good choice.

I went from a gsr flywheel which I weighed at 16lbs to the type r weighing 14lbs. I think I feel the car rev up a little faster, but it's really hard to tell with just the butt dyno. I'd still say it's a good upgrade.
