Default How do I replace the air bags?

I've got a new set of air bags and the control module to replace the set that have been blown in a 95 Accord... does anyone have experience in swapping out air bags?

I'm thinking that any manual won't give instructions because of the potential for diseaster. Have you ever seen instructions in a manual?
Actually, I understand it's not hard to do the replacement but if I can't get any answers, I'll take the car to a body shop where they have experience in replacing air bags. I just didn't want the $ bill if it is easy enough as long as you aren't so foolish as to connect with the battery and fuses in place.

The helm's manual will tell you how to take the airbag in the steering wheel out, not sure about the passenger side. I think if you drop the glove box out of the way you can get access to the nuts on the bottom of the airbag. Make sure you disconnect the battery first and connect the airbag connectors where they need to go while you have them out. And if you have any doubts, let a shop do it.

Yeah, I have already taken out the two old airbags but not the controller yet. It wasn't hard to mechanically pull the old ones out. I'm just trying to find a safety list on how to correctly install the new ones and what "critical" info I should be concerned about. (something like, "make sure you tighten everything properly so the air bag doesn't become airborne if it blows in an accident).

The most critical thing was already posted: Make sure you disconnect the battery first.

The sensor module is the most inportant part. If you don't install it correctly the new bags will blow when you start the car.

If you are really nervious you can install the module and the air bags and hook them up latter after you are sure they are installed correctly. THe driver side bag just plugs in from a panel under the wheel--easy to do after ward.
