i'm wondering if a set of KYB AGX rear crx si(disc) struts will fit into my 91 civic dx. i've been told both that they won't(because the rear disc trailing arms are different) and that they will??? i've done searches and phoned parts stores, but get conflicting info. anyhelp at all would be appreciated!! thanks

 

They should work i have rear tokico illumnia's off a 91 Si on my '90 DX

 

The geometry of the trailing arms is identical. Who ever is feeding you this bull is an idiot. If you want you can swap the crx Si trailing arms on your car. I have 90-93 Teg trailing arms (identical to 90-91CRX Si) on both my '89 CRX Si and my '90 Civic DX. The only thing that would possibly cause a problem with shocks would be an '88 year shock because the lower control arm shock mount is different. Swap the LCA and it isn't a problem. In your case you are not using an '88 part anyway so you are good to go. If you want disc in the rear check this:
