well, as some of you know, i'm moving to europe this summer. which is not a bad thing... i like it overthere. here is the bad part, i just sold my Prelude on ebay
i'm waiting for the guy to send me the payment, so i still have it for a few days... i already miss that car. i went to the grocery store this morning, and almost started crying on my way overthere. i get in the lude, slide in that comfy seat, grab the MOMO steering wheel and turn the ingnition on. it fires right up and a nice rumble from the greddy exhaust awakens the garage. i wait for it to warm up as usual and in the mean time i play my favorite song. i open the garage door and drive out... i open the sunroof and roll the windows down, and i notice just how shiny the new paint is. as i'm driving this other 4th gen prelude comes up next to me and gives me a and smile... i managed to hold the tears...
i'm a sad sad luder today

p.s. i'm thinking about buying a 92-93 S or Si to drive around until i leave the country, so thinking of that makes it a little easier for me...
oh, and thanks for listening to my crying.

thats sad man. i feel ya. i almost had to sell mine and it sucked....i couldnt let it go, i procrastinated untill it was too late and i found a way around it, so it worked out.

I sold mine a few weeks back. It was a fun car but i dont' miss it to much. RWD owns

bb1, im sorry man ... i know how this must be hard for you. I hope to keep my lude for all my life (change the motor when needed, replace anything else with a new part). I've seen your car once i believe, and she is a beauty. again, im sorry that you have to part with her, im sure she made you happy.

and to answer some of the questions; i got $10600 for the car. the buyer hasn't replied yet! i hope he's not a flake because i lost a few other potential buyers...
the exhaust was the Greddy SP (someone asked)...
and yeah, i should be able to get my hands on something very sweet in europe. i was thinking a Lancer EVO6 or a silvia... or i could always get another prelude

 

im probably never going to sell my car. its my first car.. and im in love with it.

 

yeah, i sold mine just about a year ago and it was pretty hard. I had driven it for 5 years and obviously it became part of my life. Car's can represent one's personality even and express things. It's difficult to see something you love leave you. I feel you.

i feel what you mean man. it was a sad day to hear back when you first posted it for sale. i really wish it was one of us that bought it. we know what it has been through and had done to it.

every time i get into my lude i get a great feeling. i am reminded that i finally have the car that i have wanted since i was 13 years old.
