Default Spraying Header Wrap

I've heard spraying header wrap w/ silicone spray will protect it and keep rain from staining it, but what kind of spray is it? All I saw at autozone was silicone lubricating spray, and I don't think that's what I need.

You wrapped your header? did you put anythin under it to make sure it didnt rust and stuff under the wrap? I dont know if you need to do this but i was asking cause i was thinking of wrapping mine too. Either the header or wrapping the tubing near it so that doesnt get too hot as opposed to the actually header itself(cause it supposedly would void my warranty).

I haven't wrapped it yet, my tools got stolen w/ my car and I gotta wait till i can get some wrenches and sockets to drop the header. As I understand it, you simply clean up your header a bit, wrap it w/ the wrap, clamp it down, and spray it w/ some silicone spray to keep it clean/prevent rain from rusting. I want to hear exactly what other people did before I do it myself, though.
