Default Rain sucks

So I'm sitting at work ready to leave early, but due to terenchial downpour (probably 2-3" in last 1 hour) my parking lot is flooded and I can't leave because the R won't be able to get through the 1 foot deep channel that is created at the end of the lot.

this isnt spelling-tech hehe but its:

torrential, not terenchial

and while i'm at it...

wary = cautious
weary = tired

there are more but i'll stop here

Remove the intake at the t/b and be on your way.

Also, I'm glad to see this thread wasn't about you getting owned in an accident in the rain.

sure does Steve. I've already flooded it once before leaving.

Reid - I always wondered how safe that was running it without the filter....please educate me

It's NEVER a good idea to run without an air filter.

But I have run open t/b, once when there was a downpour and I had to get home.

Of course, that was with a B16 engine of which I have spare engines (so it was far less of a risk than killing a B18C5).

Then again, your car burns oil badly and needs a rebuild anyway.

I'd drive it open t/b. The throttle response is amazing.

Or just get the filter off the end of the CAI and put it on the TB.

Sucks, y0! We've gotten 5-6 inches over the past 48 hours or less. My parent's basement flooded for the first time in 25 years

Worked for us, since we had no intake for the swap pictured.
Nice intake wallop and nice response.

Only thing is, the car don't run so well with wiring issues and the broken axle that came with the shipment.

Over the course of a year it's better .... but today it's just hot! I would take a heat index of 47 over a heat index of 97 most anyday (and so would my teg).
