i have a greddy and it sounds like a bird dying....the hks has a high pitch whislte....they both are good bovs. im not sure which 1 is better though.
mines make both i dont think ur pushing enuff psi for the high pitch sound intekagsr but i dunno....i have hks and i modified it so it makes more of the whoosh of air like a blitz but louder.....

I like the hks because the way it works it will blow off daily driving on low boost and light throttle. yet it will still hold 30psi of boost and not leak. you kind of get the best of both worlds. most other blow off valves that hold high boost have a really stiff spring to hold 20+psi and they dont blow off on light throttle. the hks is a push pull type so it will hold 500+ hp but will also blow off on light throttle so you dont get any compressor surge.
isn't the ssq known to leak because of the c-clip retainer?? i think it was covered here https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=270185 i have a type-s sitting here in my room
