Rear motor mount firewall clearance
Some of you might have read my thread in the CRX forum but I need more of a technical answer.
When I have my rear motor mount on it touches the firewall. I'm guessing I need more clearance so my idea was to take a piece of 1/4" plate and make two holes in it for the two rear holes on the mount. I'd put this piece underneath the rear mount to give me more firewall clearance. Is this going to effect engine fitment, hood clearance or anything else down the line?
If you need to know this is a B series HCP kit going into a CRX, my rear crossmember got all funky after I bent the lip down, it is not a problem with the HCP kit.
