i need some help linking up my zc into my 89 crx dx how do i link it up on the driver side i have the comlplete wiring harness that belongs to the zc engine. (can i use any 88-91 mpfi harness or do i use an 86-89 acura harness) your help would be appreciated thanx

 

you can use the DX harness just add wires, or a 88-91 SI harness will also work. ZC may work if you still have it. just need to add the wires from the ECU upto the connectors.

 

thanks zcivic but what i meant was that on the driver side there is a plug that looks like the harness on the oppisite side but it doesnot match with the zc connection i think this is where the resistor box goes or plugs into check it out and help if u can thanx

 

The DX harness will NOT mate with the ZC harness. Here:

Basically you will use BOTH harnesses, the stock DX harness will basically stay in place, you will be adding in the MPFI (injector setup) portion of the ZC/A6 Harness, lots of sites show how to do the DPFI-MPFI swap,

Yup what AbaZ said. Just use your existing DX harness, and add the wires you need from your ZC harness. When we did my MPFI, I used B16A1 injector wiring. It's all the same.
