difference in ride quality between H&R and Neuspeed sports
I am trying to decide between H&R and neuspeed sports. I kno the H&R's have higher spring rates so does this mean that the neuspeed's will have a better ride quality? Ive been hearing to go with the neuspeeds if im going to stay on stock shocks for awhile. Also, everyone says they like higher spring rates... what is the advantage of higher spring rates? thanks
get the H&R Sports. i have them and love them.
but i wish that i would have waited and got custom ground controls now. with higher spring rates

the spring rate is pretty much how much force it takes to compress the spring, so the higher the spring rate, the stiffer or less easily compressed.
My take on the performance aspect of lowerin cars is this, 2 purposes:
1) To lower the cars center of gravity which would result in improved handling capabilities and smaller moment of inertia with respect to the floor as the vertical center of rotation.
2) To reduce body roll by increasing spring rate.
I doubt that the ride quality between the two will be significantly different. I have teh neuspeed race myself, and i'm comfortable with them, while others think its too much of a drop and too stiff. So its up to you.. how would u like ur car to handle.... but generally the stiffer the spring, the less comfortable ur ride will be... but a set of good shocks will do you good.

I'm not to much worried about how my car handles. I never autox and it dont really drive my car that hard around turns. I am more concerned about how my car looks and rides. I like the drop of the sports springs. But I want to kno which ones will have a better ride. I am also going to be staying on stock shocks until mine go. Then I want to replace them with some kyb gr2's becasue of money. SO would I be better off going with the neuspeed's with lower spring rates? I also dont want to be bouncing all over the road.... thanks

my H&R Sports have settled way tooooo much. instead of a 1.7 / 1.5 inch drop. I have over a 2" or 3" drop. My car is hella slammed and I am not happy. I would if the spring rate is higher, but it's not.
Does H&R warranty this kind of stuff?

2 to 3" now from 1.5"? Humm.....I don't know about that.
You should call contact H&R and ask them about warranties on their springs. I know Eibach warranties all their springs for 10 years from sags, crack, etc.,

Your H&R sports did not settle to a 3" drop -- that is literally ridiculous. If they settled to 2", that is perfectly normal and acceptable, and the Neuspeeds will do the same.
I personally own, and love, and recommend the H&R Sports as well...ooo paired with Konis...gorgeous. I wouldnt keep your stock shocks long at all with either -- and they will last about as long with either.
