for your new clutch to break in? Well, I had the Clutchmaster stage 1 installed a week ago and i already put almost 200 miles. The instruction said wait 500 miles before you start WOT ing your car. So did you guys wait religiously before beating your car? I mean it take forevers to get there(500mi)! I did kinda launch it hard last night, and i hope i didn't fawk the clutch disk lol..

 

i personally would just wait the 500 mi. the weekend is here, time to take a long drive.

 

yea it iwll be wise to wait the 500 miles....
go to a city, or go downtown, go to a lot of trafic and stop and go driving.... that will help the break in,. since u cant floor it a lot... go around driving, take a road trip.... but wait the 500 mi..... u dont wanna mess that up and loose ur money

 

Yea just wait, and city driving will break it in better during those 500 miles than highway would, since you're using it more in the city. I waited till about 1000 miles for my clutch to break in, even tho it was a cheap *** auto zone oem replacement clutch....i jus didnt wanna **** it up n end up tearing the tranny out n replacing the clutch again
