Default Does your B series rear mount hit firewall?

I'm looking at my rear mount on my HCP B series in EF kit and it seems that when it's installed the bushing is up against the firewall. Has this happened to anyone else and does it need clearance from the firewall?

I was thinking about cutting a piece of 1/4" flat bar and drilling two holes in it and putting it under the rear of the mount to raise the rear up. Would this effect hood clearance or anything further down the road?

It's close, but it doesn't hit at all.

No problems with either the Place Racing or Hasport kit. Even with a B18C.

Its not a problem. The mount is just close to the firewall, thats all.
You can safely forget about it.

Does anyone know how much clearance they had to the firewall? If I raise the back side of the mount up it will give me the firewall clearance so I'll probably just do that.

That would be pointless to do, since the only thing that touches the firewall is the lip of the urethane. And barely at all. Its not like the mount is moving around, it just sits there.

Ok, I was under the impression that the urethane needed actual clearance, I was just worried about excess shaking but I guess that'd be pretty hard to happen. So I take it that all of yours are 3/4" clearance to actually touching in some situations.
