Default Nice, tucked CRX possible?

As some of you may have read previously, I recently lowered my CRX on Maxspeed coilovers and am pretty unhappy with the height.
Theres a good inch between the rear tire and fender and about half an inch between the front tire and fender.

Someone mentioned that CRXs can't really get the tucked tire look because of how high the car sits stock. Is this really true? I've never seen a slammed CRX, yet almost every EG, EK or DC2 I see looks nice and low. What's the deal?

and that it's horrible for the suspension and spine.

lol the only crx ive seen with the stock wheels tucked is because he was rollin with no springs(idiot) but even then the back tire was maybe ¼ to 1/2 in. tucked barely at all.

if you want to tuck a crx buy an air bag suspension, its going to ride like a boat though.

no no no...he's saying that totally dumped is hard on the suspension and hard on your body (rough ride)

my 92 cx that was DUMPED kept ****** up struts, and my back from the rough ride. my DUMPED 90 civic si rides very rough and hurts my *** (totally dropped on skunk2's)

I wouldnt consider a bit of tire tuck "dunked". I've ridden in plenty of tire tucked EGs and the ride was fine. My CRX's height almost looks stock and I'm kinda disappointed. If I got some adjustable shocks, would that lower it much more? Yes, this is my first experience w/ lowering a car. No, the coilovers are not on backwords.

you can lower it more with shocks if you have yellow koni's. They have adjustable perches.

I got 1.8 drop springs and lowered it about a inch and a half with the struts and the car is too low IMO.

My resonater is screwed so i will be raising it up an inch and replacing the damn resonater ($90).

Oh and by the way it doesnt tuck but my tires line up perfect with the fender line . it also feels really low since crx seats sit low.

ghetto info for free ~ thank me later. to slam a 91, the front is easy .. its just like any other .. but the rear what you need is take the stock shocks and a hammer and knock off the cup that holds the spring and turn it up side down and put it back on. hard to do if you expect to keep your camber straight though.
