Default Will a wiring harness from an AUTOMATIC car, work on a manual one?

I understand there will be a few connectors that are left over from the auto stuff, but will everything else work, if you plug an auto wiring harness into a manual ECU?

Yes although you will need to run some wires for your reverse lights and some other misc. stuff.

So I will have to add extra wires for the reverse lights?..they aren't on the harness itself?
