Default Piston to Valve clearance questions...For the N/A guru's

Ok so I've got some good power now but I'm already thinking of going a little wild for next year so here are some questions for u guys...

This is the kinda setup I'm looking for:
12:1 or 12:5:1 compression pistons
stage 2 or 3 cams from skunk
and some .5 mm oversize SS valves from skunk maybe high comp

How can I ensure that the valve reliefs on the pistons will be big enough? What should I know before I piece this setup together? Any other recommendations?

you could probally get a much better response from the N/A thread..post it up in there and the gurus will be all over it..

I could be wrong but I think you can clay the motor to see if the valves would tap the pistons???? dont quote me on that

Well u could say I'm already N/A I've got S-pistons in w stage 2 cams and hondata... I run consistent low 14's 14.1 @99.7 is my best on street tires... But I really wanna get into the mid to low 13's if possible so I'm thinking of going a little further...

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA H AHA HA HA HA HA
I am also worried about the atts and the fact that i am going to NC to finish school, along with the money issue.....but if i can get into the mid 200hp NA i think ill be happy till i get out of school finally.......plus if the atts doesnt work then we already have a 80 lb disadvantage from the start
def. have to work on the name

i'm not sure about the .5mm oversized if your going stage 3.... i'll know once i receive my head... until then everywhere i see they say you cna't because if you try to dial in your cams (gears) you may have valve-valve collision on your overlap stroke.. since stage2 and 3's have long durations on them.. i know my stage 3's have a VERY long duration.. I opened for ferrea's stock size that .5mm will not even contribute to .5hp if that... and you need to install new seat's in the head, then port to match the new seat etc etc etc....

fair enough...I've heard oversize valves would offer minmal gains as well probably not worth the hassel.. Perhaps some really good headwork and super aggressive cams will help me get to where I want and also getting rid of this shitty DC header.
