alright, these are dyno charts of my setup. i have a stock b16a3, apexi world sport, comptech header, test pipe and iceman air intake. its also worth nothing that i have 4.78 final drive which tends to decrease measured hp by 2-5hp.

dyno results of a skunk2 chipped p28.
notice, 144, 104.8. this is with an otherwise stock setup, running rich as hell getting 16-18mpg.


here is a p61 (92-93GSR) vs a skunk2 chipped p28.
notice, the lack of midrange compared to the p28...thats because the p28 advances the timing like crazy and runs out on the top end. ie 150 vs 142.

its also important to note the difference in temperature.

with the p30 it was probably 20 degrees warmer. like 80 vs 60 or so.

i'm also getting 32mpg with the p30, so for right now i'm pretty happy.

next is a type R bottom end, brand new from honda or an individual seller if i find one from them first.

 

good stuff. looks great as with any other parts, including chips tuning is the key, advanced timing + further advanced timing = lower power. but anyways great comparison.

 

What kind of P30? USDM or JDM?

ITR blocks are fun Call Pop at All Version he sells em new from honda. mine hadnt been touched by another person since the factory. was sealed in plastic and in a box with japanese writing everywhere... pretty cool. He's also sold enough that some kids have to get out of them due to money problems. I know of someone who got in one with 10K on it for $1500. Not bad... give him a shout in Orlando...
