Got 0WN3D yesterday!
Yesterday my cousin in his Motero-Sport backed up into my parked car yesterday. Raised the car up a little on the coil-overs and the fender still scrapes on the wheel, also i cant open the drivers side door so i have to do the Dukes of Hazzard everytime i enter the car through the drivers side...
Does anyone in the BAY AREA know a place where i can get cheap OEM replacement fenders? Also a good place to get it painted and the minor door damage? I went to My local Honda dealer in Vallejo and they estimated $1475 for everything! Im not gonna to let my cousin pay that much. Anyway here are pics:
And that Black sol in the back is my loner car that my cousin let me borrow until my car is fixed

For the time being, you should pull the fender off and pound it back out so it doesn't rub, and you'll be able to get in/out through the driver side.
you should take all the parts off of the loaner car that you need to fix your car. then have you cousin pay for the paint. then he can fix the other car in his own time
That sucks. It's your cousin, so I wouldn't be too mad either. I don't know about OEM, but you can get aftermarket for pretty cheap. Try Cetifit. Their stuff fits okay/good, so you might want to check them out. If your cousin is willing to pay for OEM, hell, go to Honda. Have them do everything..Good luck and keep us posted.
so take it to a body shop, hes gotta pay to fix it why would you WANT to half *** it? Out of pocket expenses suck, but if they dont want to go through insurance they should already expect it to be expensive. Its not cheap to suck at driving, with or without insurance.

just pick up a new fender or a used one from a junk yard, then get it painted.. then water sand it down, and buff it to get the color matched.
its only a 200 dollar job.

OEM fenders are cheap as ****. i think i got one for my old 93 coupe for like under 75 bucks. you should def get in the fenderwell and push that out. it shouldnt rub, it should be easy to push out(somewhat), and it wont look as bad. my friend has a 03 tiburon and he get damage something like yours. i just used my hand and did push it out. no more rubbin for him.
Where did you get the fender for $75?
Did the $75 one fit the same as the old one?
The dealer is selling the fender for $215 alone.

He has insurance but he doesnt want to go through them because his premium will go up...
an oem fender shouldn't be that much but you can get an aftermarket fender. Got to an auto body place and see if they can get you a fender and paint it. Its not a big deal and that's not half assing it; I don't know how you could half *** it.
OEM fenders are expensive as hell, I hear what your saying. My friend bought a brand new, OEM fender from Honda for his '95 Si and after buying the fender and having a shop paint it he was out around $500.
I say try to work something out with your cousin to where you can get somewhat quality parts. Dont use half *** fenders because theyre going to be just as much of a headache as the damaged one you have now. Fitment sucks on shitty aftermarket fenders. Good luck!
