Default Paint work after badge stolen

Well some dickless piece of **** decided he needed MY acura badge more than me, so he did me the favor of stealing it. This wholesome, respectable, upstanding member of society also scratched and key'ed the **** of the surrounding area. So I have decided to have it filled over and have the defaced part shaved, painted ect.

To those who have done this before, how much did it end up costing you? And what all work was involved? If anyone could show me how to post a picture, i'll post the damaged area.

I would of gave anything, to catch this piece of **** in action. My car was perfect until now. Damn.... Sometimes I hate the import scene. If I had a mustang or M3 I would not have to worry about this bullshit.

If you had a Mustang yes... Not so sure about the M3 though, I've seen lots of Honda "M3's" around here

I've owned a great many mustangs over the years, and the "5.0" emblems get stolen regularly. The "running pony" grill ornament on the 94-98s turns up missing alot too.

Sucks about your emblems, man..

i had my rear emblem jacked over the summer by some punks. there was a slight dent and 2 scratches where they jacked up the emblem.

i took it to a local shop and had it done for 200 CAD. This included filling the hole and repainting the area.

Not bad! I could live with that. I am just trying to decide if it's worth turning into insurance. If it's going to be a expensive job yes. But if it's only going to cost me a few hundred bucks, i'll probably just have to chalk it up as a loss. Any of quotes or actual $$ amounts people have had done?

rear emblem shaving and hatch paint run $200-$300. They have to paint the whole hatch and it take times and skills to do it right.

I hope it wasn't your neighborhood ricerboys who did the damage to your car.

I am 99% sure it happened last night at work. I noticed it this morning leaving my GF's house. For 300 bucks its not even worth reporting to my insurance. Thanks for the info. I'm going to go out tomorrow and get some estimates.
