ITR Shocks???
Hey guys, I was reading that people putting some H&R springs on there ITR. Can they handel it? I have a gsr, and wanted ITR springs, for that lil drop. I assume the itr shocks can handel a lil more of a drop.. So lets say the itr springs drop my car .75 inches, but gsr shocks arent made for it..yet will last. Now you guys think the itr shocks can handle a lil of a drop too?...
This is was i was thinkin..Get some itr lcas, get itr shocks, then some H&R springs. So i can lower my car around what, like 1.5 inches?
Ideas?

Well, I am spending 75 on itr springs...
passwordjdm has jdm springs and shocks for 100 plus shipping, I would use the shocks, sell the springs to my friend, get some h&R springs, and lcas.

ITR shocks are not worth upgrading to from GSR shocks.
This simply isn't worth the time and effort IMHO.

Ohh well, Only reason i thought about this, if type r shocks can handle springs that lower it like another .75 inch.. Then if i got the R shocks cheap, and got those springs, i would have a decent lowering and better handeling then what I got..

Ohh well then, ill just get the ITR springs then. I got a type R sway bar and mounting kit, been under my bed for a while now. After reading some threads, i was told its a good idea to get better springs, with a higher spring rate so there is less chance of tearout of the subframe.
Thannks for the advice guys Reid. BTW, where did you get your avatar?
