Upcoming alternative to the Skunk2 IM...
Holy Schnikes!!! I would wait for this...
Wow that is amazing. And here is what he says below, alluding to a H-series all motor design coming soon!

We're just now in the process of validating the flow characteristics and it'll be seeing duty on an engine very soon. We're currently working to get the injector bungs located right along with fuel rail attachments.
Astute observers will note the plenum chamber's shaping, with area decreasing with each cylinder. The length of the runner floors and the head's port floor equal the length of the runner roof and the port roof. I'm not showing the proprietary "S" in the runner floors yet, so you'll have to be satisfied with these pics for now.
BTW, we're so terribly busy that I'll be running behind on answering a lot of posts for the rest of the week, so take it easy on me.

I'll be keeping you all updated with the performance numbers, as they should be spectacular. This is the first manifold that's really been designed correctly for Hondas.

I can't comment anymore on the rest of the design features right now, as all this is highly proprietarty at this point.
There are also other configurations coming and it's safe to assume that there'll be one for the H Series engines too.

TOO's got an intake manifold coming out? Don't hold your breath. He's had his supercharger kit in development for the last, oh, 5 or 6 years or so...

Not going into the endyn thing here but at least there are pictures of this unline the supercharger. Looks sick....
Is it just me or does that IM look like it needs to go on a diet?
thats is one sweet looking IM tho

i wonder how the carbon fiber will hold up to the heat..will it stay nice or will the resin turn yellow and all nasty looking

diet??? Dude it's made out of carbon fibre

damn look at the collector on that mo fo.. ****! thats for like lotta boost it looks like and a 170mm TB ehehe
You must be mistaken. Larry provided many numerous pictures of his 'infamous' SC. It just never made it to the market; and pissed a lot of people off at the same time.
Back to the thread at hand, manifold still looks nice what about the edelbrock? I heard they were going to have one for us fairly soon. Any one have any updates or no?
anyone see the carbon fiber rotors and pads in the new SCC? I think it was either at SEMA or the tokyo show. How in the world would those work out?
Wow, that's pretty sik looking. Should have no intake gas limitations with that thing.....

Is that anything like this manifold:
I saw this on a web page:
http://arlosautoaccs.safeshopper.com...at1534.htm?632
Has anyone heard about this manifold or tried it? 25hp seems bogus to me, but I've never seen a dyno of one. How much power are the accord R manifolds supposed to make?

Carbon fiber is also used for braking systems in LeMans series, and other racing car series too. And yes carbon fiber will withstand the heat on the valve cover. It dispates the heat quicker than aluminum. If CF cant withstand the heat by being a valve cover, then it will be impossible to be used for braking system...
AEMs drap car uses a carbon fiber intake manifold... it will withstand the heat. their car runs a custom 8 injector set up along with a grip of boost....
Is the manifold going to be race only or are they going to modify it for street use? I don't see any place on that manifold to hook up our vaccume lines and various sensors... just wondering... if it ever comes out I'm sure we'll be looking at 600+ for the manifold which wouldn't be worth it unless it give you 15+ to the wheels imo...
