questions: clutch install on `93 Accord
I bought a `93 Accord about a month ago with 195k on it. The clutch is slipping occasionally, so I ordered an OEM clutch kit (along with a timing belt kit) that should be here today. I am planning on installing this clutch myself to save money. At the same time, I will be replacing the rear main seal as a precaution and replace the front discs as they are warped. I have never done something this major with a car before (done shocks and springs, a clutch slave cylinder, brakes, stuff like that), so I am kinda nervous about the whole thing. I bought a Haynes manual for my car that gives a decent explanation of the procedure.
The manual says to undo the ball joints in the front hubs to get the halfshafts out. Is there any way around this, an easier way? Wouldn't undoing ball joints render them useless upon reassembly and, in turn, screw up my alignment?
Also, any specific tips to make this job easier? I should have my dad or maybe even a mechanically-inclined friend (he's done a clutch and headgasket on his Miata) to help me out. I tried a search and couldn't find anything on taking halfshafts out or doing a clutch job.
Thanks for any input!

I just did mine in my 93 LX now I have to go back and do it again :*( good tipe pull the engine. it's a bitch to get the trany out if you dont. we broke off the lot's of stuff and ended up replaceing the whole cluch system, 2 sencers, and some mount it sucked. its it there good. once it's out tho it's easy to work with just geting it in and out sucks. o and give yourself a good amount of time to do it never know what will happen.
