Painted my GSR wheels and they look alot nicer now(pics)..
My car was a semi east coast car so it was nice and rusty and salty. The wheels that came with it werent in the greatest shape and i decided to do something different today and paint them. If anyones interested in doing somewhat the same thing i used duplicolor primer, graphite wheel paint, and clear coat for wheels too.
here is the before:
they look alright here, but you cant really tell that they are fairly jacked up.
primered
untouched side by side with the a freshly painted one
finished product
went to get some gas and snap a few pics. i know its dirty but i live in new mexico where the dust blows plentifully. i like how they look.

i think you should've painted them a lighter gun-metal and you need more of a gloss to it...
aside from that... great job.

they are shinier than they look in the pics. when i went out to my car this morning they looked nice and shiney.
i like it polished...for fat 5 gsr'sit's all good, did you striped the paint and clearcoat it?
Looks alright now, but when the paint starts to chip of in a week it will look REALLY GHETTO! Your just going to have to keep up with it.
